Set-up jig for dovetail router bits on Hoffmann double miter saws
Jigs are adjustable for W-0, W-1, W-2 and W-3 sized router bits.
Innovative design makes changing bits quick and easy and assures repeat accuracy.
Operation:
- Jig is adjusted to proper depth setting with calipers.
- Router bit is secured in jig with set-screw.
- Bit is installed in motor collet with jig acting as depth-stop.
- After collet nut on motor is tightened, jig is removed from router bit while setting of jig is maintained.
Separate jigs are used for left and right hand side of machine to avoid having to re-set jigs when changing bits.
If production requires use of different router bits (e.g. W-1 and W-2 for different moulding sizes), a set of jigs should be purchased for each size bit.
