Giving Back

 At Hoffmann Machine we are always focused on our customers but we also care about the community and environment around us as well. Outside of work our staff enjoy working with animals, recycling, and being active in local volunteer organizations. As a company we support the local and national charities below.


The Outreach Center is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization
based in Morganton, N.C., serving around 1,200 impoverished families weekly through food distribution, education, job training, and spiritual support. 

options-logo.jpg Options of Burke County provides a local shelter for victims of domestic violence, rape and sexual assault in Morganton, NC which is called “Jim’s House”.





Southmountain Children and Family Services is headquartered in Morganton, NC, and they operate the State’s first and only foster community near Lake James and four Children’s Advocacy and Treatment Centers.


Motorcycle Relief Project (MRP) is a 501c3 tax-exempt nonprofit organization that provides relief to veterans with PTSD and other injuries by taking them on multi-day motorcycle adventure tours.

The North Carolina Sheriffs’ Association is the statewide organization of our state’s 100 Sheriffs. Through their Association, the Sheriffs work to strengthen the professional law enforcement services their offices provide to the people of North Carolina.

The National, State and Local lodges of the FOP are dedicated to being a recognized community partner for charity and helping create a better relationship with the public.
Best Friends Animal Society mission is to bring about a time whebest-friends-logo.jpgn there are No More Homeless Pets. They do this by helping end the killing in America's animal shelters through building community programs and partnerships all across the nation.


REASON volunteers provide reduced cost spay and neuter services for Burke County residents to help end the overpopulation and the unnecessary killing of healthy dogs and cats. Since the beginning of their program they have arranged for over 2,500 surgeries, yet the need is still great.
