Hoffmann mullion jig is used to accurately rout keyways into the coped ends of mullions or muntins when building cabinet doors with glass panels, small custom windows and interior doors, etc. It raises the mullion off the machine table, allowing the coped end to reach over the back fence. No re-setting of the router bit is required.
The jig is machined out of solid aluminum and is used in place of the standard steel fence plate. Two guide blocks on its underside positively register the jig on the machine table; a guide fence on the jig is adjusted according to the muntin width.
Will also fit older MU2 and MU2-P dovetail routing machines.
