The High Impact Shock Absorber for the GlideStop, takes the shock that other stops just can’t handle.
Our heavy duty design features dual springs, heavy steel construction, a 30 lb. preload, and bronze bushings for long life. This item is serviceable as well, it can be dismantled, cleaned, and reassembled with ease, using standard tools.This is a must have if your shop demands accuracy and handles materials of considerable mass. Typical applications include large and heavy timbers, dimensional lumber (2x's), high-production environments and anytime there is a chance that material will be push against the GlideStop with substantial force. 
Shown on an automated display at a major woodworking trade show, one of our High Impact GlideStops withstood over 47,000 impacts with no registered movement.Please note that the High Impact Shock Absorber is not suitable for miter cuts, it is designed solely for square-ends with 90 degree cuts.
