Obsolete Hoffmann dovetail router motor type UAD-33-F 750 watt - 120 volt.This was the standard motor for all older level bench top MU-2 series Dovetail Routing Machines; capable of routing keyways for W-0, W-1, W-2, and W-3 Dovetail Keys.
Heavy-duty design with steel flange and double bearings, equipped with built-in overload protection circuit, these motors were built to our specifications in Germany, and have proven their reliability in woodworking shops worldwide.
Replacement motors are shipped complete with power cord and 1/4" collet.
Recommended replacement: W3900010 Hoffmann Router Motor, 885watt - 120volt This is the next larger 885 watt -120 volt motor which is current standard equipment for all MU-3 series professional bench-top routing machines.This is the ideal upgrade motor for MU2 and MU2-P machines. This motor has the same 43mm diameter front flange and is a direct "slide-in" replacement for the smaller 750 watt motors which have been discontinued. The electrical limit switch on MU2 and MU2-P machines is sized to easily handle this larger motor as well so no new limit switch is needed.
Important Installation Note: Replacement motor must be installed and connected exactly as the original Hoffmann motor. The power cable must be connected to the limit switch on the machine to cycle the motor on and off. If motor is connected to constant power it may fail prematurely. Improper installation and connection voids the warranty.
