Square stops for X-18, X-20, MU2 and MU-3 series machines are made of aluminum, with precision machined sides and a special ridge on the underside to engage the fence rail.
Mounting holes for optional height extensions are pre-drilled.
Square Stops are used for all types of square or butt-joint applications.
The stops can be used on the built-in fence as well as fence extension rails on either side of the machine.
Stops feature machined steps which are used to set the router bits.
Tip:
Hoffmann Square Stops are pre-drilled for quick and easy installation of optional Square Stop Height Extensions, part # W3018000.
Please note that adding Height Extensions to the standard Square Stop can make it a bit more cumbersome to use the plate with thinner or flat (3/4" thick) moulding. It is often preferred to have two Stops on hand, the standard Stop for flat material and one with installed extensions for taller stock. An assembled Square Stop with Height Extensions is available under part # W3020002.
