These nylon fittings will fit manual MORSO NFL and NFXL and electro-pneumatic MORSO NLEH and NXLEH face-frame notching machines.
They are installed in the aluminum slide bar at the center of the machine.
Fittings are used to accurately trim the 45 degree corners when coping rails.
Shipped with fine adjustment screws for tight fitting joints.
Different widths cover different nose knife sizes:
5mm fitting for 1/4”, 5/16” and 3/8” nose knives
9mm fitting for 1/2” nose knives
15mm fitting for 5/8” and 3/4” nose knives
19mm fitting for 1” nose knives
Center Fittings should be replaced when they are worn or damaged to assure best results.
Always return dull MORSO knives to Hoffmann Machine Company Inc. for grinding and honing to factory specifications. We have a MORSO grinding machine in our shop here in Valdese, NC to get your knives back to like-new condition.
