About Us

Hoffmann GmbH Maschinenbau headquarters in Bruchsal, Germany.

Hoffmann GmbH of Germany is a family-owned and operated business dedicated to the development, design and manufacture of high-quality woodworking machines. From smaller entry-level machines for Do-it-Your-self types and hobbyists, to medium sized machines for custom woodworking shops all the way to custom-made industrial cutting and joining solutions, our parent company designs and builds everything at their facility in Bruchsal in southwestern Germany.

To better serve our customers in the US, Canada and Mexico, Hoffmann Machine Company, Inc. was founded in 1990 on Long Island, New York. We proudly serve as a distribution, sales and service center for the North American market.

After a number of expansions on Long Island, and again facing the need for a larger facility, we relocated to the foothills of western North Carolina in July 2005. This more centralized location near Morganton and Hickory, and only an hour north of Charlotte, allows us to better serve our customers.

Aside from office space, the Valdese, NC location also includes a spacious warehouse where all standard Hoffmann machines are kept in stock. An extensive supply of spare parts, accessories and Hoffmann Dovetail Keys are on hand at all times.

Daily shipments via truck and UPS are processed in our shipping department for customers across the country.

A showroom is available to demonstrate the full range of equipment to customers and distributors. The showroom is also used as workshop to process material and moulding samples sent to us from new and existing customers. We are always happy to process customer supplied material for our Dovetail Keys. The samples are returned unassembled to give you a chance to evaluate the assembly process and the resulting joints.

We appreciate your interest in our products very much and we will work hard to exceed your expectations.
